The Hawaiʻi's Daughters Guild of California

Hoʻolauleʻa
Each year, HDG gather members and hoaaloha (friends) together to run their food booth at Hoʻolauleʻa (Hawaiian festivals) across California. Faces young and old can be seen gathering together to cook, clean, serve, prepare food, and share stories and laughs. Some years, HDG even dances hula as part of the Hoʻolauleʻa. Proceeds from these events go towards the hui and towards college scholarships for Pacific Islander wahine (women). In the past, HDG has participated in the Alondra and San Diego Hoʻolauleʻa. In lieu of a Hoʻolauleʻa this year, due to Covid-19 restrictions, HDG held their drive in food pick up.
